The Season of Transition
Sitting in the floor of my bedroom, lost, discouraged and waiting for an answer. For weeks I called out to Jesus asking for a confirmation on my transition from a paying ministry job to trust God and travel in ministry. I was so nervous that I may be moving on feelings and not revelation. Therefore I waited, I cried and I was desperate for a answer.
I wanted to be absolutely positive I was making the right move. So I sat there, waited...and waited. Then finally I had revelation to move, I remember the relief I felt in my heart when I could finally breathe normally.
This is one out of the many stories of me being in a season of transition. They seem to be the hardest times in our life. Friends and coworkers that you love so dearly will soon leave your life from transition. Rooms and offices that were once filled with your vision now remain empty with just boxes lying on the floor. It’s one of the weirdest feelings in the world.
Then there is the feeling of walking across that bridge, into your yes. It’s that moment of finally feeling like you’re fulfilling your purpose and honestly IT FEELS AMAZING.
In May millions of students will transition. From highschool to college, from college to workplace. Their stepping into the new season. Why are you not?
I believe sometimes for so long God will speak and tell us to move, but we don’t due to fear of messing up or the response of man. Today, kick the devil in the teeth and move. Cross over into your new breakthrough your new season. YOU CAN DO IT.
Please don’t stay complacent because of being nervous. God has so many plans for your life and He needs you to say yes. Make a move of faith. Make a move of YES!
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
