Riding the Wave of your Promise
I’m am completely convinced that riding the wave of your promise is one of the most, heart changing, mind boggling, and patient driven things in our walk with God. As a ministry we are currently believing God for a piece of property. I have to be honest, we have spent hours of prayer and worship listening to the Father on how He wants to move.
There have been multiple times, just this week, that I have felt that we’re on the edge of receiving our promise. It’s like for so long we’ve prayed, we’ve prepared and we have believed in faith for God to move….but, then we don’t hear an answer. Or maybe we hear an answer to our situation, however it’s not what we expected to hear.
Riding the wave of your promise teaches you how to trust God in every season and knowing that He is still in control.
I don’t surf but, I understand if you desire to ride out a wave you must pick the correct timing, the correct weather, and you have to have talent for surfing (unlike me.) I know for myself what God has told me, I understand my promise, but I am also beginning to understand that the season has to be perfect. The climate of your life must be in perfect control, while your ear must be ready to hear and your balance with time in the secret place needs to be on point.
I say all of this to declare over you today, don’t give up. If God said it He didn’t lie. He’s just preparing you for perfect timing, He’s getting your heart ready to receive the harvest of your promise, IN JESUS NAME.
